Two suspects were charged with possession of methamphetamine after neither admitted ownership of .10 grams found by a detective in their vehicle Thursday, Shelbyville police said Thursday.

Courtney Michelle Fears, 25, of Mount Herman Road, and Cody Allen Campbell, 29, of Ray Street are each charged with possession of a schedule II drug and paraphernalia, SPD Detective Nathan Evernart said.

The bag was found in their car’s center console during a search, along with digital scales containing drug residue, Everhart’s report said.

Fears, the driver, was also charged with an array of traffic violations and posted $6,500 bond. Campbell was released on $1,500 bond.

**Thefts

•A cell phone was picked up from a table at a home on Locust Street between 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday, police said. A suspect was named.

•A utility trailer was stolen from a Champion Circle home between Nov. 27 and Tuesday, the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office was told Wednesday.

•A kerosene heater was taken within the past two weeks from a shed on Wallis Road.
