Two men were injured when this ultralight aircraft crashlanded into a field and wooded area near a home on Hopkins Bridge Road early Tuesday night. First responders on the scene were focused on getting the occupants to medical facilities and investigators as of Wednesday hadn’t obtained names of those involved, Bedford County 911 Director Phillip Noel said. One of the occupants was airlifted to a Nashville hospital with serious injuries and the other was driven by ambulance to Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital with more minor injuries, according to Noel.
