After slipping to Tullahoma earlier in the week, the Community Viqueens took a tough one on the chin against Central Magnet, before rallying to defeat Fayetteville on Wednesday afternoon on the road.
On Tuesday against Central Magnet, the Viqueens had a tough time getting out of the starting blocks and Central Magnet jumped out to an early lead and never let off the gas.
The Lady Tigers took a 25-12 first set win and followed with a 25-16 second set win and a 25-14 third set to finish the sweep.
M.J. Simmons led the way with seven kills, while Paige Simmons added three.
Jacey Collier and Lizzy Beasley added two apiece.

COMMUNITY 3, FAYETTEVILLE 1
FAYETTEVILLE — After two, tough home losses to start the week, the Viqueens got back in the win column with a convincing 3-1 win on Wednesday at Fayetteville.
Things got off to an inauspicious start, with the Lady Tigers edging out the 26-24 first set win.
But after that first set fell Fayetteville’s way, Community put the match in lockdown and rattled off three-straight set victories to finish the match in four sets.
Community evened the match, winning Set 2, 25-15, before taking the lead with a 25-16 third set win.
The Viqueens put the match away in the fourth set, 25-17.
M.J. Simmons went on a tear for 13 kills, six blocks and a pair of aces. while Jacey Collier recorded eight kills, two digs and an ace.
Community returned home on Thursday for Senior Night, however results were unavailable at press time.
The Viqueens open play in the District 9-AA tournament at home on Monday afternoon.
