FAYETTEVILLE — Community had plenty of opportunities, but in the end couldn’t capitalize in a 1-1 tie at Fayetteville City on Thursday evening.
The Lady Tigers drew first blood with a score in the 10th minute.
The two teams battled back and forth until Jemima Ramos recorded the equalizer in the 30th minute.
For the remaining 50 minutes, neither team was able to crack the opposing defense and the game ended in a tie.
Thursday’s game at Fayetteville marked the second tie in four matches for the Viqueens.
Community will close out the district slate on Tuesday at Cascade in a battle of District 6-A unbeatens.
Match time is set for 5 p.m.
