UNIONVILLE — The Community Viqueens sent their seniors out in fashion on Senior Night on Thursday, dominating Giles County in a three-game sweep.
Virtually everything fell the Viqueens’ way as Community posted set wins of 25-4, 25-4 and 25-12.
The four Viqueen seniors showed out on their night to lead the Purple and Gold to the win.
M.J. Simmons went for eight kills, two blocks, four aces, five assists and a dig, while Jacey Collier added two kills.
Abi Brown chipped in three aces and a dig, while Paige Simmons recorded four kills, three aces, two digs and a block.
The win wraps up the regular season for the Viqueens and sets up a first-round of the District 9-AA tournament against Marshall County on Monday afternoon at 6 p.m.
Community will host the entirety of the District 9-AA tournament, with the championship game set for Tuesday at 6 p.m.
