In the end, Community withstood a four-run rally in the seventh inning to claim the 8-5 victory.
Culleoka scored the first run of the game in the top of the first inning, but Community answered with a three-spot in the bottom of the inning.
With one out, Abbi Murrill connected on the first of three-straight base hits that led to the Purple and Gold lead.
Brianna Beech and Abbi Brown both drove in runs on their base hits, while Haley Mitchell drove in a run on a single as well.
Community plated two more runs in the third inning and there more in the fifth to take an 8-1 lead.
Brown provided the bulk of the Viqueen offense, recording three hits, including a triple, and driving in three runs.
Beech and Hailey Farrar each drove in a pair of runs as well.
Community sat firmly in control of the scoreboard until the top of the seventh inning.
With two outs, Culleoka's Tayler Watson crushed a grand slam to pull the visitors within three runs.
Even with the late charge, Community was able to record the final out to secure the three-run victory.
The Viqueens return to action on Tuesday evening and will face District 12-AA opponent Marshall County.
