Prior to last Wednesday’s final home match, Shelbyville Central Tennis honored the six seniors on this year’s team at the Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Tennis Courts. 

Hoyt Wessner and Jackson Benson are the only seniors on the men’s side, but the women’s side will have to replace four players for next year. Those four are Caitlyn Burdick, Evenlyn Basurto, Ryann Gary, and Anabel Leigh. 

Those six seniors competed in the district tournament on Wednesday, also held in Shelbyville, with the results unknown prior to printing.
