I wanted to pass this advice along for anyone in a similar situation that I was in when deciding on care for my mother. My Mother had been with me at home until I was physically unable to continue to care for her and my family and I had to make the difficult decision to place her in the nursing home.

We toured several local facilities, but once we went to Lynchburg Nursing Center we noticed a difference in the feeling of the building, it felt comfortable. We have been here for 2 years and I wanted to share that the nurses and techs are great. I feel very comfortable that she is well taken care of when I go home. The staff and other Residents are like family and that is very comforting.

While I live in Shelbyville, the drive to Lynchburg has never been an issue, and for great care it is certainly not. I would like to recommend Lynchburg Nursing Center to anyone facing the decision of care for their loved one.
