Temperatures hit 73 degrees this week in Bedford County but will be cooling down a little bit this weekend. It has been very dry recently and I do not see the rain chances picking up much until Sunday night and again Tuesday night. Next week is looking cooler with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s.
The biggest meteor shower of the year is coming the night of December 13 and I will tell you more about that next week.
I did some research in the weather record books for our area on the largest snowfall we have seen. Way back in 1894 on February 25th, 15 inches of snow fell on the Palmetto area and that is still the official record.
