Betty Cornelia Webb, age 74, of Shelbyville, TN, passed away on December 18, 2020 at Lincoln Medical Center.
She was born in Lincoln County, TN on July 3, 1946 to the late George Walter Barnes and Elizabeth Childress Barnes who survives. Mrs. Webb worked as an LPN and attended Longview Baptist Church in Unionville. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority in Smyrna and was a member of the Red Hat Society of Shelbyville. She enjoyed cooking and fishing.
Mrs. Webb is survived by her husband: Michael Webb of Shelbyville; mother: Elizabeth Barnes of Fayetteville; daughter: Jill Murdock of Fayetteville; son: Dale Thornton of Fayetteville; step-daughters: Mary (Lake) Smith of Mt. Juliet and Rachel (Jason) Cherry of Goodlettsville; step-son: Matthew (Feather) Webb of Nashville; grandchildren: Anna Marie Thornton, Melana Murdock, Miranda Murdock, Elizabeth Webb, Ethan Webb, Emmaline Webb and Jacob Smith; sister: Sue (Gary) Wright of Fayetteville; and brother: Charles Barnes of Fayetteville.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in Willow Mount Cemetery with Pastor Jimmy West officiating.
