Mrs. Billie Walls, age 87, of Unionville, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Pastor Billy Joe Calvert will officiate, with burial to follow in Swanson Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
Billie was born December 16, 1934, in Beechgrove, to the late Robert Miller Phillips and Leara Bell Morgan Phillips. She was raised in Bell Buckle and graduated from Bell Buckle High School. She loved her family and gardening. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. Everyone who met her loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Tom Walls, Jr., son, Ricky Walls, and two granddaughters, Jennifer Mitchell and Brandy Smith.
She is survived by her daughter, Janet (Mick) Stark, of Kingsland, Georgia; son, Tony (Tara) Walls, of Unionville; brother, Bobby (Shirley) Phillips, of Shelbyville; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family.
