One of Shelbyville's oldest seniors, Donald Francis Popham, passed away last Thursday at the age of 103. Several Times-Gazette reporters have enjoyed taking his picture over the years and were entertained in the process with his spry sense of humor. The centenarian always said the key to his longevity was "hanging out with Jack (as in Jack Daniel's Whiskey) and staying active.
