On any given night, plating 14 runs might be the highlight for a team.
For Cascade on Tuesday, it was the combined no-hitter from Tyler Knight and Zach Crosslin that stole the show.
The pair combined for 11 strikeouts and kept the Riverside Christian bats whiffing as Cascade dealt the visitors a 14-0 loss.
Cascade got the scoring frenzy started with a four-spot in the bottom of the second inning.
The Champions put the first three batters on base and batted around in the frame to take the 4-0 lead.
Cascade followed with a 10-run eruption in the third frame that put the game well in hand for the home team.
Ryan Inmon was a key part of the Champion offense with a 2-for-2 night and three RBI to his credit.
Walker Craig and Cade Whitson also knocked in two runs as well.
While it was an offensive frenzy for the Champions, it was Tyler Knight, who got the start, that kept the Riverside bats silenced through his four innings on the mound.
He recorded eight strikeouts and gave up just three walks before turning the mound over to Crosslin.
Crosslin pitched the final inning and recorded three strikeouts to finish off the no-hitter.
