Hodge found the back of the net five times in the match to lead Cascade to the blowout victory.
"I am proud of how we played in the first 12 minutes and in the second half. We lost focus between there but finished the right way and took care of business," coach Zack Spears said.
Hodge assisted Pablo Solares for the first score of the night in the fourth minute, but it was a pair of quick-strike goals in the 11th minute that helped Cascade take total control of the game.
Hodge found the back of the net first, followed by an Isaac Chapa goal.
Leading 3-0, Cascade closed the first half, Solares assisted Hodge's second score of the night to give the Champs a 4-0 lead at the half.
Goals continued finding the back of the net into the second half as Hodge laced a shot to the back of the net in the 44th minute on a free kick to finish off his hat trick.
Even with three scores to his credit, Hodge continued the scoring frenzy into the 49th minute when he weaved through the Rocket defense and put Cascade up 5-0.
Hodge's final score of the night came in the 67th minute when Michael Anderson assisted Hodge for the fifth goal of the night.
Anderson capped the night with an eighth Cascade goal when he finished off an Ivan Draine corner kick.
The win keeps Cascade perfect in the district play, but more importantly secures a first-round home match in the upcoming tournament.
Cascade will host that match on Tuesday at 5:30 with Senior Night set to take place at 5 p.m.
Cascade closed the regular season on Thursday night at Fayetteville.
