MARTIN, Tenn. - Bedford County resident Jennie Kathryn Conley of Bell Buckle was among students who received degrees from the University of Tennessee-Martin during fall commencement. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, UT Martin hosted three in-person commencements to promote safety for graduates and their families while recognizing the Class of 2020's accomplishments.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- Austin Peay State University is proud to recognize over 2,000 students who were named to the dean's list for academic achievement during the Fall 2020 semester. Making that list from Bedford County were: Alyssa Amos, James Sutton and Shelbie Williams, all of Bell Buckle; Zachary Kline, Jasmin Navarro, Peyton Simpson, all of Shelbyville; and Chloe Mooneyham of Wartrace. To qualify for the APSU dean's list, students must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or greater.
