Dorothy Lee Adcock Bridges, 97, of Shelbyville died January 19, 2024.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, at Hillcrest Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M.
She was born May 24, 1926, in Bedford County and was a member of Singleton United Methodist Church. She was a loving MeMaw to all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lee Adcock and Addie Bell Burrow Adcock; her husband of 56 years, Herschel M. Bridges; a granddaughter, Erin Williams; sisters and brothers, Baula May Adcock, James Adcock, Mary Adcock, Neal Adcock, Thomas Adcock and Billy Adcock.
Dorothy is survived by her grandson, Jason (Lindsay) Williams of Shelbyville; great grandchildren, Kaleigh Houk, Kason Williams and Kennedi Williams; and a sister, Bobby Gene Husky of Santa Fe, New Mexico.
