CLEVELAND — Shelbyville Central's Golden Eaglettes season came to an end after falling 66-37 to state-ranked Bradley Central on the road in opening round action of the Region 3-AAAA Tournament on Friday evening.
The Eaglettes kept it close early and took a lead early in the second quarter.
"In the first half I thought our energy was what I expected it to be," Eaglette coach Kyle Turnham said, "With that said, it was impossible for us to simulate their size in the three days or so we had to prepare for this game. That, along with how well they shot the ball and how well they play at home, made this a great challenge for us."
