Helen Marie Steele, age 91, passed from this life early Monday morning, December 28, 2020, following a brief battle with kidney disease.
Born August 7, 1929, she was the daughter of Richard Sanders and Katherine Hunnicutt Sanders. She is survived by: granddaughter, Tiffany Weaver; great granddaughters, Grace and Lauren Weaver; sisters, Betty Brown and Anita Haslip all of Shelbyville.
Ms. Steele was preceded in death by: husband, Joe L. Steele, who passed in 1989; daughter, Linda Steele Olkowski, and infant son, William Michael Steele.
A private graveside service was scheduled at Lone Oak Cemetery in Lewisburg, TN.
