Judson Davis “Judd” Sulcer, age 60, of Bell Buckle, passed from this life Sunday, Dec. 21, 2020, at Tennova Healthcare of Shelbyville.

Judd was born January 31, 1960, to the late Benny Wilson and Imogene Davis Sulcer and is preceded in death by an infant brother, Thomas Buford Sulcer.

Judd graduated class of 1978 from White House High School and worked for Crawford & Company for over 20 years. Judd had a larger than life personality and was known and loved by many throughout Middle Tennessee. He had a way of drawing people in and never knew a stranger. While living in Lawrenceburg, he was a part of the Morning Mess radio show with Eddie and Judd where he brought laughter and fun to many listeners. He was a well-known entertainer and loved singing, playing the guitar, and piano. In his free time, Judd also loved activities such as throwing football in the yard with his son, spending time with his daughter and throwing frisbee with his dog Billy Rich. Also known as “Poppy”, Judd loved being surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He was very active in his community of Bell Buckle, TN and will be sorely missed.

Survivors include: daughter, Jillian Presley Sulcer of Bell Buckle; son, Judson Chandler Sulcer of Chattanooga and Chad (Taylor) Hunter of Columbia; brother, Jeff (Karen) Sulcer of Nashville; sister, Jill Simmons of Pleasant View; grandchildren, Bowen and Liam Combs, Jackson and Price Hunter; nieces, Morgan (Brian) O’Neill, Taylor Johnson, and Maggie Simmons; nephews, Chad Sulcer, and Benjamin (Kirstie) Simmons, and many beloved cousins; also his dog, Billy Rich.

A private family service will be held.
