Margaret Elaine Cartwright, 73, of Shelbyville died November 11, 2022.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 13th, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Jeff Smith officiating. No public visitation is scheduled.
She was a native of Bedford County, retired employee of Economy Pen and Pencil Co. and a member of Southside Church of Christ. She loved her family and especially enjoyed Christmas time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Guy Prince, Frances Ophelia Bomar Prince and a sister, Ruth Hicks Reed.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Joe Ben Cartwright; son, Albert Eugene (Cindy) Cartwright; daughter, Frances Dianne (Victor) Ratley; grandchildren, Sam Cartwright, Kyle (Lauren) Collins, Vickie (Brian) Mosley and great granddaughter, Lexi Collins; sisters, Kathryn (Jerry) Pigg, Nancy George and Christine Groce.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House or to Southside Church of Christ Mission Fund.
Hillcrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
