White rock methamphetamine was found in the purse of a woman whose car was checked by Shelbyville police behind Roses, Madison Street, shortly after midnight Tuesday morning, an incident report said.
Krystal Dawn Harrington, 38, of Fayetteville told Officer Sam Campbell she was waiting for someone to help her change a flat tire.
The purse was checked after passenger Jason Brent Glosson, 40, of Shelbyville allegedly tried to hide a zippered pouch under a seat. A glass pipe and two straws with drug residue were found in the pouch, Campbell’s report said.
Glosson, who was wanted for a probation violation, was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and held on $3,500 bond. Another glass pipe was allegedly found in the driver’s seat of Harrington’s car, according to the report.
She was charged with possession of a schedule II drug and paraphernalia and held on $3,000 bond.
