A man who allegedly tried to force his way into a vehicle at a convenience store was arrested Thursday.
The vehicle’s driver told a Bedford County deputy he pulled into the BP store at U.S. 231 North and State Highway 82 East and saw a man identified as Victor Fox, 41, of the Midland area lying face down in the middle of the parking lot. He stopped to check on Fox, who allegedly replied that he’d taken drugs earlier in the day.
Fox requested and was refused a ride, then allegedly made “multiple attempts” to get into the driver’s and passenger’s side doors, Deputy Jonathan Brown’s report said.
Fox was charged with public intoxication and on a previous warrant for failure to appear. He was held on $1,500 bond.
