UNIONVILLE –  The Community Vikings scored just a minute into the game and took a big halftime lead en route to a 5-1 win over the Richland Raiders in a non-district soccer contest Tuesday night.
Community (3-1-1, 0-1) recorded its first goal as Randy Anica put the ball in the back of the net off a corner from Ramon Hernandez as the Vikings took a 1-0 lead.
The Vikings added their second goal in the 10th minute as Andrew Montalvo rebounded his own penalty kick into the net after a deflection from the keeper to give Community a 2-0 advantage.
The Vikings made it 3-0 and ended the first half scoring as Hernandez drilled a direct kick into the right side of the goal in the 13th minute.
"We started off pretty hot in the first 20 minutes and kind of just relaxed and played sloppy after that," Coach Jesse Cooper of the Vikings said.
There was a long dry spell in goals before the Raiders sent home a direct kick in the 57th minute to cut the Viking lead to 3-1.
A Hernandez goal in the 63rd minute gave Community its first goal of the second half and put the Vikings up 4-1.
Hernandez made it a hat trick with a goal off an assist from Anica in the closing seconds as the Vikings finished the scoring for the night. 
"We wanted to use this week after we lost to Forrest to bounce back," Cooper said.
