***Coach Robbie Davis of the Vikings on Stewart County

I preached it to our guys that these guys go, go, go, for 32 minutes. They're the hardest playing team that I've ever had to coach against in my coaching career. Their offense fits what they do and they're good at. They're disciplined and they're really physical, and physical legally.

***Davis on his team's 11-point lead in the third quarter

We made the mistake of putting it in neutral. Because that's how games have been lately. When we get that lead, we just kind of go back and forth.

***Davis on the final minute of regulation

We wanted to make sure we took the last shot. We got the charge and it was a good call. Our guys defended their last shot. They talked well, they contested it, and we took it to overtime.

***Davis on his team doing the things needed to win in a close game after losing seven regular season games by 17 points

Those regular season games that are non-district are learning games and we treat them as such. Those seven games were like that where we had the lead and lost it. The other teams made the plays and we didn't. Hopefully, that's what paid off tonight for us.
