Webb rides hot start

FRANKLIN - A dominant first half was more than the Webb School needed to take down BGA on Friday night.

Webb exploded out of the gates with a 26-point first frame and coasted off the effort to a 48-61 final score.

Webb exercised its will on the hosts, scoring from the perimeter and in the paint throughout the first quarter.

Of its eight made three-pointers, Webb sank four in the first quarter.

Weston Coop led the way with three in the first frame.

Webb led 26-8 after the first quarter and 36-14 by halftime.

The Feet tacked on 20 more in the third frame, but saw BGA refused to go away.

In the fourth quarter, BGA went on a 24-5 romp that cut Webb's advantage to 13 points, but couldn't finish the rally.

Evan Eursher led the Feet with 16 points, while Jordan Jenkins added 11.
