Cynthia Jewel Dial, age 65 of Murfreesboro, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 22, 2023.
She was born in Augusta, Ga., on August 28, 1957, then moved to Shelbyville, Tenn., where she graduated from Shelbyville Central High School. After high school Cindy resided in Murfreesboro where she attended Middle Tennessee State University to receive her bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Cindy loved to watch her grandson play baseball and was a huge Tennessee Vols fan. She was a registered nurse for 40 years. But most of all, she loved her family. She attended World Outreach Church in Murfreesboro.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Prosser Dial.
She is survived by her son, Blake (Lindsay) Melton; grandson, Braden Melton; father, Huron Dial; sister, LeeAnn (Bruce) Butts; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Hillcrest Cemetery, 1802 Madison Street, in Shelbyville.
