Flossie B Waterson, age 77, of Shelbyville, passed from this life Saturday, June 22, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. Per her wishes, she was cremated and a graveside service was held 10 AM Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Willow Mount Cemetery. Sister Faye Tucker officiated.
Flossie was born on January 24, 1947, in Rogersville. She owned and operated Creative Touch Florist for many years in Shelbyville. Flossie was preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Stapleton Jones, and sister, Jolynn Anderson.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Boyd Waterson; children; Darlene (Dennis) Perryman, Barbara (Jay) Pope, both of Shelbyville; stepchildren, Dawn (Robert) Hankins, Lyle (Nicki) Waterson and Angela (Donald) Neill; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; siblings, Charlotte (Elmo) Dodson of Rogersville, Wayne (Shelia) Wallace, of Surgoinsville, TN, and Jim (Debbie) Stapleton, of Bulls Gap, TN.
