Ina Faye Curlee Pierce, age 91, of Shelbyville died July 24, 2024.
Funeral Services were held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 28th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Mark Pierce officiating. Burial followed at Willow Mount Cemetery. Visitation began at 1:00 p.m.
She was the daughter of the late Zach Mitchell Curlee and Nona Glyndon Foster Curlee. She married the late Billy Dale Pierce July 24, 1950 and she passed away on their anniversary.
She is survived by her son, Mark Edward Pierce; three grandchildren, Michael (Dana) Pierce, Christopher (Alexandra) Pierce and Michaela (Carl) Woodward; four great grandchildren, Carter Pierce, Nolan Pierce, Jillian Pierce, Jameson Woodward; sister-in-law, Marie Smith; nephew, Terry Smith; grand-pups, Mia,
Thunder, Otis, Leela, Zoey; bonus daughters, Vicki Fleenor, Peggy Nolting and many beloved cousins.

She loved her family, friends and church family with her whole heart. She was a member of Horse Mountain Church of Christ. She was deeply respected and loved and will be dearly missed.
She loved animals of all kinds but especially dogs. She was a long-time volunteer with the Humane Society beside her sister-in-law, Marie Smith and dear friend, the late Kitty Graham.
She was a friend to dogs. She said of every one of them, "It was the most beautiful dog you ever saw!"
She enjoyed feeding her birds, humming birds, raccoons and her possum. They always watched for her and one raccoon even peeked in her back door when she was late.
Over the years, she got to know people from her different occupations such as Model Laundry, Jostens, raising chickens for Tyson, cattle farming and school bus driver for Bedford County schools for 20 years.
