Cascade's Walker Craig and Isaac McElroy both signed to advance their athletic careers into college on Monday morning.

Cascade held a pair of signings on Monday morning for seniors Isaac McElroy and Walker Craig.
McElroy, who had a breakout senior season on the hardwood at Cascade under fourth-year head coach, Chris Lawson, after transferring in before his junior year, signed with Pellissippi State Community College to continue his basketball career.
He led Cascade in scoring with 14.4 PPG, including shooting a 38.7% from three on almost four attempts per game, before their season ended in the Region 5-AA Quarterfinal at Loretto. He also averaged 5.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists all in about 25 minutes per game, getting more comfortable with his new role as the year progressed after Cascade lost the majority of their scoring from the previous season.
Walker Craig, after a stellar season on the diamond in Bell Buckle under second-year head coach, Travis Sheffield, signed with Dyersburg State to continue his baseball career.
Craig was a two-way star for the Champions in his senior season. On the mound, Cascade’s ace posted a 1.89 ERA across eight starts, including a team-high 37.0 innings, with a 4-0 record. He gave up just 10 earned runs all season, and he struck out 54 batters while walking just 28. Opposing batters hit just .206 against him.
At the plate, Craig was second on the team with 93 plate appearances. He slashed .338/.495/.574 with an OPS of 1.068. He was second on the team with four home runs, second on the team with 23 hits, and led the team with 26 RBI. He drew 16 walks and hit four doubles. He was just one of four players to play all 24 games for Cascade this season, and he was hitting third in the lineup in the vast majority of those games.
