MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Chandler Alderman becomes the third Blue Raider pitcher this season to pick up Conference USA Pitcher of the Week.

This honor comes after his seven inning, complete game against the UAB Blazers on Sunday. He tossed 111 pitches, striking out four and forced two double plays, one of which ended the game. Alderman brought his season ERA down to 1.97 and earned his second win of the season.

Alderman now joins Trace Phillips and Drew Horn to become the first starting pitching rotation to each earn this award in a season in Blue Raider history. 

Middle Tennessee has won Conference USA Pitcher of the Week three out of the five times it has been announced this season.

MTSU will host SEMO on Tuesday, March 18th before traveling to face #15 ranked Dallas Baptist this weekend for the first CUSA series of the season.
