Alma Jean Parker Deason, 93, of Shelbyville, died February 5, 2024. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 10th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home. The Rev. Tim Kemp and Rev. Andrew F. Deason will officiate. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M.
She was born January 14, 1931 in Lincoln County, TN.; a retired cafeteria worker for Bedford County School System and a member of Faith Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Herman and Velma Key Parker; her husband of 57 years, Donald Franklin Deason; daughter, Angela Reed; son, Anthony "Tony"
Deason; granddaughter, Anna Deason; great grandchildren, Andrew F. Deason and Gloria Bane; brothers, Charles Parker, James Herman "J.H." Parker Jr., William Parker and Ellis Parker.
Alma is survived by her children, Cathy (Thomas) Leverette, Patricia "Pat" (Ricky) Donovan, David (Pat) Deason; sister, Geraldine Mason; daughter-in-law and caregiver, Nell Deason;
