Mrs. Anne Ruth King, 91, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022, at home under the loving care of her family and Aveanna Hospice.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Round Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.

She was born September 5, 1930, in Lewisburg, to the late Luther Rogers and Myrtle Craig Rogers. She was the youngest of six children. She retired from Worth Bats Company in Tullahoma and was a member of Liberty Valley Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Cecil James King, and a grandson, Landen James Sampson.

She is survived by her children: Rick King and Roberta Davenport, of Shelbyville, Steve King, and his wife Margaret, of Thompson, Ohio, Brenda Newell, and her husband Gilbert, of College Grove, and Terri King and Ron Tooley, of Unionville; seven grandchildren, Gil Newell, Jennifer Ward, and her husband Michael, Ashley Tooley, Skylar Tooley, Kyle King, Jimmy King, and Jeffrey King; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
