Lauren Ashley Boyce and Nathan Daniel Earl Hale were united in marriage on the evening of April 9 in Shelbyville before a large guest company. Administering the double-ring vows was Tim Key.

The bride was escorted by her son, Landon Cassady. She is the daughter of Tim and Rhonda Boyce of Unionville and granddaughter of Paul Cunningham and Lynda Phillips of Shelbyville and the late Claudine Cunningham and the late Clyde and Margie Boyce.

The groom is the son of Kay Hale of Shelbyville and the late Danny Hale. He is the grandson of the late Hayden and Vergie May Honeycutt and Carol Hale of White House and the late George Hale.

The bride chose to wear a fitted champagne-color dress fashioned with an off-white lace overlay and sweeping train. Her matching, shoulder-length veil featured one tier of elegance.

She carried a small bouquet of greenery and off-white roses. Flower girl was the bride's cousin, Bailey Nowlin, daughter of Jordan and Heather Nowlin, of Shelbyville.

Assisting the groom as ring bearer was the bride's son, Easton Cassady, of Unionville.

A reception was hosted by the bride and groom's mother at the Shelbyville home of Timmy and Tara Melson.

Prenuptial parties included a bachelor trip to Destin, Fla., and a bachelorette event in Panama City Beach, Fla.

The newlyweds are planning a trip to the beach this summer. They are making their home in Shelbyville.
