The Cascade Champions had a stellar showing in Thursday night’s Senior Night match up with Cannon County.
The Champs scored at will against an out-matched Lion squad and sent its three seniors out on a high note with a mercy-rule-shortened 9-0 win.
The night honored seniors Freedom Williams, Drake Hodge and Pablo Sola.
“Those are the three we lean on. Just great leadership out of those three. They pick everybody up and do what they’re supposed to do,” Coach Glenn Tidwell said.
Hodge recorded a hat trick with scores in the fourth, 16th and 36th minute.
Carlos Velasques also found the back of the net twice with scores in the 29th and 32nd minute.

By halftime, Cascade had built a 7-0 lead.
Barely eight minutes into the second half, Sam Bossom found the back of the net for the eighth Cascade score.
