Michael Glenn Totty, age 56, of Shelbyville, passed away December 29, 2024.
A Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend Scott Reed will be officiating.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time Saturday, at the funeral home.
Mike was born February 6, 1968, in Dickson, Tennessee, to Devetta Litton Totty and the late Jack Totty.
He has a sister and brother-in-law Lee & Linda Fox and nephew Brian Palmer.
Mike was a mechanic for 40 years and well known for his legendary diagnostic skills.
He was extremely kind and generous especially to those less fortunate, unable to pay for needed repairs, constantly willing to help anyone in need.
Mike is survived by his wife, Susan M Totty who have been together 25 years, married for 16 of them. Mike has one daughter, Ashley Michelle Totty Barnett, whom he absolutely loved and adored and a son-in-law, Ashley husband Michael 'Kicker' Barnett;
Mike was also a wonderful stepfather to Susan’s girls, Mercede Layne Milliken and Haley Suzanne Smith as well as a loving Papa to Madisyn Jayne Kemock, Piper Layne Corrigan, Ava Jade Smith and Cooper 'Coop' Smith
