Dennis Edward Cheek, 66, of Wartrace, died April 14, 2026, at Vanderbilt-Bedford Hospital. A Memorial service will be held 5:00 P.M. Friday, April 24th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Jeff Collet officiating. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m.
Dennis was born March 2, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to his parents, Edward and Angeline Overbey Cheek. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Clark Cheek; son, Jeremy Marcus Bragg and daughter, Toshia Gill of Indiana; step-daughter, Misty Gevedon (James) of Wartrace; several
grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Beverly Bentley, James "Jimmy" Cheek (Janice), Kay McQueen, Wanda Balbridge, Donna Proffitt, Richard Cheek, Dalmas Cheek
and Eugene Cheek.
Hillcrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
