Donald “Chi-Chi” Holland, age 91, of the Rover Community, passed away June 12, 2024.
Funeral services were 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Rev. Ronnie Grooms officiated. Burial followed with full military honors in Simpson Cemetery in the Rover Community. The family received visitors 3-7 p.m. Monday, June 17, 2024, at the funeral home.
He was born February 21, 1933, in Warren County, to the late Claude and Jewell Walker Holland. A veteran of the US Army, Donald was stationed in Germany. A retired automobile mechanic, he loved to fish, play golf, and was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lanora Holland, a son, Bruce Holland, and a grandson, Tanner Moore; brothers and sisters, Chester Holland, George Holland, Jack Holland, Doris Holland, Earl Holland, Johnnie Maxwell, Mattie Thompson, Tinky Whitaker, Ruby Byrd, and Annie Burbage; daughter in law, Renate Holland.
Survivors include his children, Monty (Belinda) Holland, Darrell Holland, Tammy Fuller, and Robin (Kevin) Moore; his twin brother, Ronald (Katherine) Holland; grandchildren, Amy Holland, Kellie Orlando, Shelby (Shane) Goodin, Tiffany (Mark) Jahns, Amanda Brimm, Matthew (Shelby) Holland, Andrea McCoy, Alex (Chelsie) Fuller, and Alyssa Moore; great grandchildren, Hunter Whitaker, Emily Whitaker, Zaylon Whitaker, Bailey Whitson, Robert Whitson, III, Kynzie Holland, Layne Holland, Enzlee Holland, Kenadi Neeley, Slaten Neeley, Roman McCoy, Barret Goodin, Thatcher Goodin, Nickolis Orlando, Saulyer Orlando, and Adaleigh Gama; sister in law, Ruth Holland.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
