"A ton of credit goes to Franklin County who had a great game plan and played hard. I am just happy our guys overcame the adversity we faced in order to go to back to back district championship matches," Shelbyville Central coach Chris Fritz said.

"Senior Pepe Vargas really stepped up to the plate tonight to help lockdown an entire side of the field."

"We are going to have to crank up the intensity and communication to give ourselves a shot against a talented Columbia team on Thursday," Fritz said.
