WINCHESTER — Shelbyville Central saw the game slip away in the fourth quarter in the Golden Eagles' 62-53 loss at Franklin County in a District 6 4-A battle on Friday night.
Leading 37-31, Shelbyville Central was outscored 26-17 in the fourth quarter as the Rebel's found a way to close out the game down the stretch.
Jayshon Jones netted a dozen points, Kyler Trice followed with 11 while Jason Ragland contributed 10 to pace the Eagles in scoring.
Debron Russell had the hot hand for the winners with 26 points.
The Eagles (4-11, 1-1) travel to Coffee County on Tuesday night at 7:30 for a district matchup.
