Due to the present health crisis, a private family service was held earlier with burial following in Simpson Cemetery in Rover.
Lawrence Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Chapel Hill was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Emogene "Jean" Wright Boyce, age 88, of Unionville, Tennessee, died Friday, January 29, 2021 in Shelbyville, Tennessee.
Mrs. Boyce was born in Marshall County and was a daughter of the late John and Adelaide Chrisman Wright. She was a homemaker and long time member of the Rover Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Boyce, who died in 2012; and brothers, John Thomas Wright, Orville "Cobb" Wright, and LeRoy Wright.
Mrs. Boyce is survived by her children, Bob (Clara) Boyce, Shelbyville, TN, Carolyn (Bob) Bellenfant, Shelbyville, TN; brothers, Homer Wright, Shelbyville, TN, Earl Wright, Lewisburg, TN; grandchildren, Tracey Fields, Robyn Boyce (Mark) Stafford, Gary (Wendy) Boyce, Angie Boyce Brown; great-grandchildren, David Donald, Matthew France, Caleb (Cheyenne) Boyce, Mason Boyce; great-great-grandchildren, Sadie Boyce and Weston Boyce.
