According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol preliminary report, a driver, identified as Elisea Sebastian Quinonez, 49, was killed at around 11:30 p.m. Monday night after a crash on Highway 437.
As Quinonez’s car was traveling east, the car struck the front left corner of an over-size load traveling west. Driven by Jamie Leverette, the vehicle was a Chevrolet CC7 and was an over-size load escorted by two out-of-position front spotters, according to the report. Leverette was uninjured, the report stated.
A passenger in Quinonez’s car, identified as Reinier Bocourt Hernandez, 36, was injured. Both the driver and passenger were wearing seatbelts.
