Well, local voters, those who turned out, moved ahead with selecting the County’s top mayoral contender-Chad Fletcher-in the Republican primary on Tuesday.
Voter turnout was low at 4,031. That’s only 12.99% of the 31,035 Bedford County registered voters.
For nearly 30 years, Fletcher has dedicated his life to serving others through education—as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and district supervisor. He currently serves as federal programs supervisor for Bedford County School System.
