Frances Lewis Foster, 94, of Shelbyville died Monday, December 19, 2022.
Funeral Services will be held 12 noon Thursday, December 22, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, Mark Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m.
She was a native of Bedford County; a loving and caring mother, grandmother who loved cooking for her family. She was a good Christian lady and a member of Horse Mountain Church of Christ. She loved collecting red birds and spent hours doing word search books.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aubrey Ransom Lewis and Maude Frances Reynolds Lewis; her husband of 56 years, Carl Houston Foster; sisters and brothers, Ollie Mae Jones, Elvera Jane Smith, Leonard Lewis, Austin Lewis, Dan Lewis and Merwin Lewis.
Frances is survived by her son, Steven Dale (Cathy) Foster; granddaughters, Nicole (Hal) Scarborough, Abbi (Matt) Grisham; great-grandchildren, Lily Scarborough, Logan Scarborough; sisters, June Jones, Elaine (Paul) Stacy and a step-brother-in-law, Larry Simpson.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Horse Mountain Church of Christ.
