Harold Clardy Smith, 88, of Bell Buckle TN., died Wednesday, May 20, 2026. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held 3:00 P.M. Sunday, May 31st, at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Abe Zimmerman officiating.
He was born November 28, 1937, in Elkmont, Alabama. He was a former Highlight Artist for Thomas Kincaid Company, a member of First United Methodist Church of Shelbyville, a member of Shelbyville Benevolent Lodge No. 122 and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Forrest Bedford Smith and Winnie Clardy Smith and a brother, Forrest Bedford Smith Jr.
Harold is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Hickerson Smith; his children, Brian Keith Smith (Pamela) of Pensacola, Fla., Christopher Michael Smith (Leann) of Bell Buckle, TN., a brother, Gene Allen Smith of Smyrna, TN., grandchildren, Michael Smith, Kaitlin Coggin (Lewis), Elijah Smith, Riley Smith and several great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Aveanna Hospice of Murfreesboro for helping assist with their loving husband and father.
Per his request he will be cremated.
Hillcrest Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
