James Tommy Cook, 69, of Shelbyville, died November 27, 2025.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 30th, at Hillcrest Funeral Home Revs. Eddie Reed, Jay Pope and Joe Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M.
He was born November 18, 1956, in Bedford County. He was a retired 28 year machinist for American Can Corporation and a member of Living Stones Church. He was a hard working man who loved his family and friends. He is remembered for the many jokes he played on unsuspecting family, friends and neighbors especially at Halloween.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas "Buck" Cook and Frances Jean Overcast Cook and a sister, Patsy Pollock.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Fredna Lynn Bedwell Cook; his children, Joshua Todd Cook (Amber), Jacklynne Taylor of Shelbyville; four grandchildren, Briana Long, Dakota Long, Rylee Brown, Austin Brown; and sister, Sandra Pointer.
