Jesse Willard Boyce, 85, of Bedford County died Friday, January 22, 2021, at his home.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated and no services will be held.
Doak-Howell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Jesse Willard Boyce passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at his home.
He was born on November 28, 1935, near Shelbyville, Tennessee to the late Jesse Morgan and Pearl Lee Lovvorn Boyce. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita R. Rousseau, brothers, Thomas Edward, James William and Wayne Fuston Boyce, sisters Margie Lee Tincher, Mary Helen Boyce and Ella Marie May.
He served in the U.S. Army out of high school and worked in manufacturing most of his life with Kirkhill Incorporated, AMF Voit and Parker Hannifin Corporation in California and Utah. Upon early retirement, he moved back to Tennessee, bought a farm and raised chickens for Tyson Foods until 2002, and spent the next 6 years tending to his cattle before retiring permanently.
Survivors include: his wife of 35 years, Beverly Ann Winkler Boyce of Bedford County; sister, Libby Boyce Crossland of AZ; son, Steve (Kelly) of Utah; daughter, Kathy (Skip) Setzfant of California; stepchildren, Chuck (Rennie) Gordon of Nevada, Ron Martin, and Debbie Bowling, both of Bedford County; grandchildren, Jason (Charlie) Boyce Heather (Matt Benson) Boyce of Utah and Clark Bowling of Bedford County; and seven great-grandchildren, Cyrus, Brooklyn, Hazel, Bradley, Theo, Rosie Boyce and Chaylee Benson, all of Utah.
As per Mr. Boyce's wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services held.
