Kerry “Suds” Sudberry, 70, of Shelbyville, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2022, in the chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy West officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m.
He was born September 23, 1952. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved and cared for anyone he met. He thought of and prayed for his family and friends daily. He was a proud member of Edgemont Baptist Church and found great joy in his love for the Lord. He was a 1970 graduate of Shelbyville Central High School and retired from Calsonic after many years of employment.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lum and Thelma Sudberry; his beloved brother, Kent; and his in-laws, Harold and Martha Metcalf.
He is survived by: his loving wife of 52 years, Kathy Sudberry; children, Chris Sudberry and Holly (Danny) Buchanan; grandchildren, Adam (Erin) Buchanan, Corey (Alisha) Sudberry, Nikki Davis (Griffin Dodd), Jake Sudberry (Shea Fordham), and Emma Sudberry; great-grandchildren, Elijah Sudberry and Lilly Sudberry; sisters-in-law, Darlene Sudberry, Brenda Parker, and Sherry Vick; brother-in-law, Tim Metcalf; along with several nieces and nephews.
