Born on July 14, 1952, in Shelbyville, Tennessee, Leslie was the son of the late Charles Warren and Alice Bone Warren. He worked at GTI for over 10 years as company President. Later, he took a job as the Head of Maintenance at First Baptist Church in Shelbyville. He faithfully served there until retiring after being employed for over 25 years. He was known by his coworkers for his dedication and willingness to help others.
Leslie had a love of music and could play piano as well as guitar. He was a Christian and attended Victory Baptist Church in Shelbyville. Summer was one of his favorite times of the year. He loved to be outdoors spending time with his family grilling out and swimming in the pool. He was very smart when it came to fixing things and building. He did much of the work on his home while it was being built. He also did most of his own car maintenance. He felt doing things yourself was invaluable knowledge and instilled this in others by his example. Though he is gone, the love he shared, the memories he created will continue to live on.
