Funeral service for Mary Lee Seibers Ledbetter, 67, of Shelbyville, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2021, in the Chapel of Doak-Howell Funeral Home with Pastor Randall Harmon and Clancy Burk officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Mount Cemetery. Mrs. Ledbetter passed from this life Thursday afternoon, January 21, 2021, at home surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be held prior to the funeral service on Tuesday, starting at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Family requests that masks be worn and social distancing practices be implemented during all services.
A native of Bedford County, Mary was born July 14, 1953, to the late Charlie and Viola Helton Seibers and was preceded in death by brother, Jimmy Seibers; sisters, Dolis Throneberry and Phyllis Seibers; and grandchildren, Courtney Thompson and Dallas Thompson.
She was a 20+ year member of East Park Methodist Church and retired from Bedford County Board of Education as a special education bus driver after 25 years of employment. She enjoyed yard sales, playing various computer games, and loved spending time with her grandbabies.
Survivors include husband of 42 years, Steve Ledbetter of Shelbyville; children, Dean (Sheri) Rhodes, Debra (Ken) Woods, Phillip (Chrstina) Ledbetter, and Nikki (Nick) Ellis; siblings, Junior (Aubrey) Seibers, Rosie (Tommy) Wright, and Bossie (Tammy) Seibers; grandchildren, Bradley Thompson, Haley Thompson, Ben Woods, Abby Ledbetter, Gavin Tate, Alana Tate, Abel Ellis, and Colton Rhodes; also great-grandchild, Nova Thompson.
