MURFREESEBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee and head coach Tayo Bailey-Duvall welcome transfers Eda Numanglu and Sadbaroy Kholdarova ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Numanoglu joins the Blue Raiders by way of the University of Tulsa and comes off her freshman season with the Golden Hurricanes. Most of Numanoglu's action came during the fall season, where she played in three events, going 7-3 in singles and 2-4 in doubles. During the spring, Numanoglu saw action in three singles lineups, going 1-0 and picking up her lone win against Oral Roberts.
Kholdarova is transferring from Ouachita Baptist University to Middle Tennessee for her Junior season. The native of Uzbekistan played in all 22 matches for the Tigers during the spring season and anchored court one in both singles and doubles. Finishing the 2025 season with a 17-3 record in singles and a 10-10 record in doubles. To go along with a stellar season for Kholdarova, she finished the season ranked No. 36 in singles at the Division II level. Being named GAC player of the week twice and earning All-GAC First Team Honors.
